LACA holds a monthly meeting on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Starting in August 2021 our meetings are in a new location: the Enfield United Methodist Church, 314 US Route 4, Enfield, New Hampshire, 03748. For directions, visit Google Maps. Guests are welcome. Although the elected president presides over the monthly meeting, LACA conducts its business in a democratic manner, with each member present having a voice and a vote in deciding plans and activities. These activities include electing officers, determining the community endeavors LACA will support, and arranging and holding craft shows.
Within the larger organization, LACA also offers several committees in which members are encouraged to become involved:
- Sunshine Community Committee members are responsible for organizing the community outreach programs voted upon by the Association.
- Scholarship Committee members review local high school art student applications to determine which students will be awarded the scholarship money. The committee is also responsible for organizing the annual raffle held each year at the store.
- Budget Committee members create the membership's annual budget, voted on by the membership
- Craft Show Development Committee members work to organize and promote craft shows.
