Annual Christmas Show and Sale

Each year the Christmas Show & Sale helps fund the financial gifts LACA gives to support:
- area high school students
- local non-profit organizations
- local events
Participation in the Lebanon Art & Crafts organization year-round is key to a successful show. During most of our 49 year history, all participants in the show have been Lebanon Art & Crafts members who contribute toward the behind-the-scenes show activities. During the show all members are required to assist with various duties such as: working the cash register, maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and restocking member displays. LACA strives to create an equitable work schedule for all members.
To be eligible to participate in the annual Christmas Show and Sale, a member must (1) attend at least three regular meetings during the months of January through October and (2) must work shifts and help with various duties associated with the show.
Since empty storefront space is usually at a premium here in the Upper Valley, only members of Lebanon Art & Crafts usually sell at our yearly show. Since 2018 we have been able to rent a larger space than our organization needs and have opened the show to non-members. Non-member applications are reviewed with care to ensure there is as little overlap as possible in craft with our members. It is important to note that the only way to guarantee a spot in our show is to join earlier in the year as a member (preferably before July) and participate in the behind-the-scenes show preparation activities. This ensures the organization thrives for the years to come.
